Sometimes you don’t need complicated dishes – just a good combination of fresh ingredients.
I started with a colorful salad: crunchy, fresh and with a light dressing.
After that, there were green beans with shrimp, a little garlic and onions – plus some potatoes and a fine sauce.
The result:
lots of vegetables
good source of protein from shrimp
manageable carbohydrates
and above all: really tasty ![]()
Especially as a diabetic, for me it is not only important what I eat, but also how I combine it. Salad in advance already helps enormously to keep blood sugar down – and it’s just small tricks like this that make all the difference in everyday life.
I describe the exact preparation, quantity data and also the effects on blood sugar step by step in my cookbook.
Because my goal is not waiver – but enjoyment with control.
